Suicide By Public Sparkling

ahaha. You have no idea how much I love this picture.

"Suicide By Public Sparkling" was an in-joke I had with myself ages ago when I was very big on Twilight parodies and etc. For those unfamilar with the series (other than the fact that it sucks), it's a reference to New Moon. Edard basically tries to commit...you guessed it...suicide by public sparkling. In this context, it's the name of Edward's emo band. XD It consisted of "Wardo", "Jazz", and Alice, who was basically in the band so people didn't think Jasper and Edward were gay. XD Of course, Bella was a massive fan girl. XD

About a month ago, I found some doodles I'd done of the band members from when I was still in school and decided to try drawing them again. This was the result and...it actually turned out really cute. XD

I don't want it to be cute, damn it. I know it's only light hearted fun and not like serious anti-Twilight hate art but that doesn't change the fact that I really fucking hate Edward Cullen. XD

Btw, I have a confession to make.
I've seen both Twilight and New Moon more than once.
Which is because...
I genuinely enjoyed both of them.
Oh, I recognise that they're bad films. They're total guilty pleasures. I find them enjoyable because of the actors, mostly. Mostly I just want to bone Kristen Stewart. /girlcrush
Although I still find the books pretty damn unbearable. Eclipse literally brought me physical pain. (I'd heard fans and anti-fans of the series alike say that it's the best of the series, but it's really not. It's pretty much terrible until about the last seven chapters, which are actually decent, and also where most of the goddamn action takes place. And then the end is terrible again.)

God, why am I ranting about this again? Oh ffs. ANYWAY, in this particular picture, Wardo and Bella-Sue are both pretty adorable. So I've decided, that in this particular mental universe, where Suicide By Public Sparkling exists, that both characters are actually pretty likeable, in a cutesy emo kid kind of way. (Once you've grown out of hating them and you see how silly emos are, they become pretty cute. Imo. XD)

Also I didn't colour it in because I felt lazy xD I cleaned it up a bit in PS though. My scanner is such a bitch.
Also, while Wardo and Bella-Sue are adorable, Jazz and The Beard (now Alice has a nickname too!) are TOTALLY half-assed. And I don't care.

Also, a footnote-Some people are really awful towards Twilight fans, but I genuinely don't care whether you like it or not. I don't find Twilight fangirls any worse than fangirls of any other thing-every fandom has its idiots. Provided you're not one of said idiots, it's all cool with me. Similarly, if you dislike or hate the series, of course that's fine too. That doesn't give you the right to be a dick to people who like it though.

the characters belong to Stephenie Meyer, but of course I made them about a million times better. XD
